Perception. If it was poured away from you and you didn't know which was which, the can would taste better because it's fresher from being more protected from air and light. Beer might taste slightly different if drinking directly from the bottle or can, but ideally beer will taste its best when it is poured into a glass.

I get what you’re saying. Been drinking beer for almost 40 years...an ice cold bottle is my favorite way.

If your your battery on your fob dies. Step on your brake, and pass your fob near the PTS button, dash lights up and you can start your truck

Thanks for sharing this. Works on my 2016.

On a related note, how far can the keyfob be from the truck and it remain running? Or is it best to simply leave the keyfob inside?

    Yes sir!

No I keep the fob in my pocket:thumbsup: I was pretty far away and it still kept running. It will run until the fuel gives out if you let it lol.

The vehicle will never turn off regardless of how far away the key is. I can see why they did it this way... In case the key battery dies driving down the road. I think it'd be nice if it prevented shifting out of park if the key isn't inside.

Use a proper beer glass, not one of those cheapass 'american' pint glasses. Those are not beer glasses.

Please educate me. I don't know what a proper beer glass looks like. Seriously, not being a wise ass.

This is a short version, but gives the idea. Glasses are shaped to enhance the taste, nose, essence of a particular beer. American pint glasses are just a simple form for stacking, storing, cleaning...

    https://www.independent.co.uk/extra...e-world-for-ipa-brand-for-stout-a7622316.html

EDIT. American pint glasses also cheat you out of beer. An English pint is 20oz, American, 16.

in a bar, maybe... but at home, most beer comes in 12 ounce bottles or cans, so the size of the glass being 16 or 20 doesn't matter.

It does matter when I buy predominantly bombers and growlers.

well then it matters for you, but not for most people. most beer sold in the US (outside of bars) is sold in 12oz cans or bottles.

    I've certainly learned something here.

    Thanks !

While I very seldom drink beer anymore, due to my low carb effort to loose weight (which is working great), back when I did drink a lot of beer it was usually straight from the bottle, at home. I'd learned to enjoy a frosty long necked bottle. That's been my preference even when I ordered a beer in a bar or restaurant. I suspect that my tastes are firmly ingrained. Old habits, and all that...
