When I was under my truck this weekend doing LBJs I noticed I have a couple bad LCA bushings, fuck if it isn't one thing it's another

 

My leaf springs are starting to squeak.

 

I gave up on that...they're just gonna squeak. The lca bushings though I'll have to do eventually

 

Good thing your radio volume can go up

 

I don't listen to the radio it's all shit anyway

Noticed when I moved the rotor a bit I could hear them creaking right from the bushing, one of them has a tear and looks a little smashed so I'm guessing that's the cause of it. Also can hear it going over speed bumps, sounds like a rusty barn door opening. Hasn't started clunking though so I guess thats good

Sprayed it good with PTFE dry lube (my cure for just about every noise on my truck) and it helped some

 

Yeah mine have a couple of tears in them. Still able to get alignments fine though. Mine only clunk when it rains which is weird. I'll get around to them some day. Lol

Those brackets suck to remove without air tools. Seriously suck.

Oh and another reason not to do a diff drop...tried doing my steering rack bushings last week and the long bolt that goes through the bushing on the driver's side won't come all the way out because it now hits against part of the front diff. Just barely but enough to where it won't come all the way out, if the diff wasn't dropped/tilted it would clear it.

Could probably grind that part down a tiny bit and get it to fit but...should probably just take out the stupid diff drop.
