I'll probably head out around 7:30am or so. I have the leave by around 1pm to get to a birthday party.

You're definitely welcome to ride along, as long as that works. I can't imagine wanting to hang out much more than 3 hours anyway

I’m leaving around 7:30 ish unless the new baby is on her way that day.

My daughter in-law is due on the 20th so I’m hoping she comes early.

Need to escape my step-mother-in-law who will be at my house for 18 days.....

    Ohhhhh joy!

@BookieBob and @deekyn , want to meet at a park and ride or somewhere along the way? We could carpool or caravan down there. Thoughts?

And anyone else from southeastern Wisconsin...

Im farther south in Wisconsin. As of now I’m a go. The baby still hasn’t arrived yet. My route:
I-94 /Hwy G south (Caledonia)to tollway (294 south) to willow/palatine rd east to 53south to Army trail rd(avoid a extra $1.90 toll) to Swift rd then cut over to North ave/64

Hope everyone has a i-pass for tolls. Illinois charges double if you pay cash!

    I could do this.

I would say between 8-8:30 just to provide a few minutes to BS before heading out.

I also refuse to pay tolls, so I'll take back roads and side streets. It's about 20 more minutes, but probably a nicer ride.

Does this sound good to anyone else?

Not sure if this will work, but here's one option.

The hardest part will be parking at bass pro shops without instinctively going inside and giving them all of my money.

    Awesome!

I'm going to shoot for 8am. We'll want to be on the road by around 8:30-8:45. I want to get there early as I have a nephew's birthday party at 3pm.

The real question is, who's picking me up a case of spotted cow?

I will. Are you meeting at BPS? Or, at the event?

I'm really looking forward to this! I can't wait to see some of the gear I'm hoping to buy in person.
