HA! That's what I thought - friend was up last weekend with his Razr and said it was fine getting in there. We'll most likely be going through there this weekend or next and can get some pictures if anything pops up. Otherwise, we'll be somewhere in mountains camping!

If the snow was firm, it would have been doable for the most part for him since he could stay on top of the snow.

I hear ya. I just messaged him and he said it was still on the banks, but the road into Bowman didn't have any snow. Once you pass Bowman, then the snow starts on the roads.

Drove Gold Lake road on Friday, it's impressive how fast it all melted out. About a month ago there was still 6' of snow 3 miles below Gold Lake.

Looks beautiful up there, although some of the 4x4 roads are still impassable with drifts.

Were you guys up there this weekend? I'm glad we didn't try to come in that way to begin with. Wondering how the road is coming in from Jackson Meadow. Assuming mostly everything that would be on the road is melted.

Lol, No. I'll totally watch other people cross, but it was moving along too fast for my liking.

I just did a quick day trip. Never intended on making it to the other side, I just wanted to see the flow myself. Took my dad up there yesterday for his first time, and let him pew some pews, then we headed back to the compound where the women-folk were cooking. It was a good day.

Almost made it to the top of signal hill. It was snow bound just past the meadow. I could have winched and traction boarded myself further. But who wants to “work” on a dirt day.

From this point on the snow got much, much deeper and wasn’t worth the effort.

    Nothing beats a dirt day.
