    New scope mount for the Axis to return it to the lightweight configuration it was in when I bought it, hoping to use it to fill the freezer this winter. That will be harder to figure out living in DFW, but I'm sure somebody out there has a cheap lease in the area they want spikes/does removed from.

    are those factory tapped? or was it done afterwards? I've thought of doing that to my old marlin, I just didnt want to drill and tap. But its prob not worth much so it couldnt hurt ;)
