Just watch YouTube and learn all the simple maintenance stuff yourself it is easy and fulfilling and like previously stated nobody will take care of your truck like you will. Basic set of tools will help you in garage and out on the trail if needed.

My new dakar med duty springs came today. Can anyone tell me how stiff they are without removing a leaf. From what I'm reading they are setup for a little over 300 lbs of constant additional weight in the bed and will give my 3rd gen about 2 inches of lift.

That was the old style dakars. The newer medium duty ones are 3” lift with 0 lbs extra weight. I’d install them as is.

Agreed install as is man. I have the HD and they are made for 300+ i believe. I run A shell and tent full time plus gear so around 4-450 and it rides great. Loaded it down this weekend with about 600lbs and it was smooth still super happy with them so far.

Those are good for 660. It’s quite the range, either 0 or 660 lol

Install as-is. Have those on mine with little to nothing in the back and they're glorious.

I wonder if these are the older  The part number is ARBEL095R

I was hoping for 2inches...3 inches will give me a little more rake than I want

Those are the new ones. I ended up with a little rake. It may have settled a little. I'd have to go look.

Thats right lol no wonder they havent moved since i bought them hahaha. Felt really smooth this weekend though at green ridge. Had the whole family in their plus all our gear and hit some trails on the northern part of the system to check out any cool spots. All the good spots we like 82/65 were taken earlier in the week but she made a pretty sweet recommendation with a spot over below 85 that is actually not numbered and is apparently overflow but right on the river. Turned out to be perfect for the family and nobody was out there at all. Had the water all to our selves to explore and swim plus good fire ring and plenty of space. My buddy showed up Saturday with his new subie crosstrek with 32 BFG and we rally car around the roads a bit.

Thinking about it a little more I should be ok. I went out and measured. I don't think it will be that much of an issue.

So I assume you will need to get an invite as well for Oktoberfest at Dulles in September then?

    Found the cow statue:

I have the mediums. Definitely rides better with some weight in the back but is not bad without. What do you have up front?
