What's the best ways I can get more power out of my Taco? I'm looking for better take off up to mid range, cause mine won't get out of its own way.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Well it depends on how much you have to spend. A supercharger is going to do the most.

Have you done the deck plate mod?

supercharger would definitly do the most but if ya dont wanna drop that much money you could start with the deckplate mod or an aftermarket intake(K&N,Volant,Spectre, etc), other things you could go with are headers and a catback exhaust.

I have thought about installing an improved air box, but haven't even looked under the hood yet, so the suggestion about the deck plate mod has gotten me started, thanks. Also, I would like to do something to the exhaust (headers would be great) but I noticed my exhaust pipe on the driver side looks like it was designed by a steel roller coaster engineer, are there aftermarket bolt ons that would negate that mess?
