Yes sir, I resembled that one. I found it's not just "what" you eat, it's also "when". I still have a problem with "availability eating of crap",,, e.g., if it's available, I will eat it....

 

I gave up 5-6 20oz Dr Pepper's a day and switched to diet mt dew, got the little Debbie's out of the house and so far down about 40lbs over 6 months. Seem to have hit a stall so now probably time to give something else up, or start working out. Too lazy to work out for now

 

Portion control is a big problem for me, you don’t stop when you’re full. You stop when you hate yourself.

 

I’ve been using hoodia it’s a supplement made from a cactus root really curbs my hunger.

 

Eat slower. The signal from your stomach to your brain, telling you that you're full, takes a bit of time. When you eat slower, it gives that signal a better chance of keeping up.

 

I know heb has some zevias which is sweetened with stevia . theyre pretty good

 

I need to check those out the next time I go

 

+1 zevia took awhile to get use to but took me off of sodas. Also intermittent fasting is good as well. 16/8 gets you to digest fully takes awhile to get use to but works

Well, I'm off to Rago Fabrication to pick up my rack

 

I wish there was an HEB was closer. Closest one is 50 miles.

 

I got by this one by ensuring that I filled up with veggies/some fruit prior to any of the good stuff. Also moved any of my good stuff to earlier in the day, then just have veggies/fruit in the evenings.

Like I said, I learned it's mostly mental, and trying to figure out something that works for you and your mindset. I.e., I have to replace my crappola, cuz my mind will focus and fixate on anything that I've told myself I can't have, so I replace it.

 

try drinking a FULL glass of water before eating or maybe 2
