Not bashing new 4runners but my friend had a 05 4runner since it was new and he put 280k on it well his work van broke down so boss told him to go rent a van so he goes and rents a brand new TRD off-road 4runner and he wasn't impressed he said his 4runner rides better and gets better gas mileage then new ones he was disappointed cause he was looking forward to retiring his second gen and upgrading but decided against a 4runner and instead went with 2014 dclb taco which is bad ass cause he was diehard 4runner fan

 

But I’m a hefty SOB is your rig setup for that kind of weight?

Something isn't adding up there...the new 4runners should be getting better mileage than a 4th gen unless his foot was in the floor due to it being a rental maybe @Misplaced Nebraskan can shed some light since he's had both?

 

Technically, we could all leave our keys in our beds or whatever and me or somebody else can line em up while the fun is happening. Just a thought...I have a thing for group pics if you couldn't tell
