    I built it my self and kinda modeled after a moby 1. It's a 5x8 on a 2x2 x 3/16 frame wit a 3500lb axle

That's a pretty neat idea! Looks to be the perfect size for your dog as well.

thanks, it has worked out well and the dog really likes to go to it to sleep, knowing we won't be rolling over on top of him :)

here are a couple more pics I found of the mounting of it from inside:

I like your tear! Love that you added a basement, having that extra storage is so helpful.

Thanks James, I actually took some ideas off yours and another build and combined them.

I wanted the basement for backpacking gear. That just seemed like a good place to store it

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
I really wanted a small rear kitchen teardrop but my lady required a "potty" inside. So we settled on this.

We use WAG bags and a quick set up shower tent.

Works great, and no black water tank to empty.

Just got back from just over 2500 miles on the road in just shy of 3 weeks. Saw about a dozen teardrops total, only a couple behind Tacomas. Got a picture from a friend on our last day as we headed to the ferry.

    On The Road.jpg

The kids (2 and 6) did amazing. We were able to keep our average driving day to a max of four hours, though two or three hours was more common. No major issues with the trailer, but it's definitely going to evolve a bit before out next trip. The more we use it the more it gets refined.

Looks good! When and where was your maiden voyage? I feel like I saw you on our big trip. We went south through OR on I5 to Eugene, then cut up into the mountains to Odell Lake, then Collier State Park, then out of the state through Klamath Falls. Our return trip was through New Pine Creek, up to Fort Rock, then Bend, then Hood River before cruising over to Portland and out of the state.

We didn’t go too far from home. Just out to the Tillamook Forest for some dispersed camping. It doesn’t sound like we would have crossed paths but you never know!
