If u have installed this please help me out here ..i have everything installed....
The front cam is not coming on at all.
The switch stays lit "rear cam" all of the time.
    The rear override works flawlessly.
I tried swapping all the rca's around and nothing.
The relay had a green and a black.
I assumed the black was ground and ground it.
The green i ran to the green on the switch.
    Input?
    Thanks

Just installed same kit this weekend and made kind of same mistake. Yes the two green wire hook together but you also have to connect the red wire on rca jack to the 2 green wires and also the other end of rca cable with red wire connects to the red wire coming out of camera. I accidentally cut the red wires on rca. I got it connected now but for some reason my unit will not operate after I get on hwy, not even when I put it back in park. It will work after I shut my truck off and leave off for 5min or so. Let me know how yours works after you get it connected correctly

I laid out and marked everything before I started my install.

I also referenced this video: https://youtu.be/dD5ANbp4aVo Note that the wiring color scheme is slightly different. I believe it's the older version.

Brian @ anytimecamera.com was very responsive to my questions.

@sju350 I did not use the red leads from the video extension cord. I powered the camera from the red and black leads from the camera itself.

No need to use the red leads at all on the RCA cable. Ignore them. Just use that cable as an extension from engine bay to the cab. Power the camera with the cameras red/black cables. Red to an add-a-fuse and the black to the ground bolt on the fender near the fuse box.

    I did exactly this ...
This part in the picture gets hot.
The switch only lights up rear and only rear works.

This is how i hooked it up originally....

    Switch
    Green to relay green
Black to black on relay to ground
    Red red override.
    Orange tonorange override

    Camera black to ground
Camera red to add a fuse.

    NOW

i added the red from rca to both green
i removed the add a fuse and put the red from cam to red from rca

I still have the exact same result.....
    Any tips?

I went thru everything again today.
In a brief email from Brian he suggested i run a voltage tester. I did. Everything seems fine. I relocated the ground for the switch and relay. I have swapped all rca all ways.
    Still same boat....
So much time invested already ...
