Well get out to some better spots than last time and try to mess with your adjusters some. But for optimal performance you will likely need a revalve.

I mean Im pretty happy with it, just some better fine tuning Im sure I can use since we only adjusted a few times.

If you wanted I could get you directions to the lava tubes, Grand falls, or somewhere else local to go check out while I’m working on the truck? That way you’re not just sitting in my garage hanging out, though that is also fine with me. Hopefully by the time you’re back I would be close to being done and then we can hit the cinders.

Hmm I could do something like that or just hang out and help too man. No worries either way...should we have a solid dinner planned out like last time?

Hell yea man that bumper got fucked up back in the day. It works for now though until I eventually replace it.

can you weld a big pole and bend it back?

I think @Redmann pioneered that fix!

Aesthetically it could be adjusted more to be a little straighter, but pointless as IMO its compromised as the initial ding with it pushed the tubing and gusseting beyond its material elasticity so messing with more likely would just make it weaker at some exponential rate so it is what it is without considerable reframing altogether.

That’s up to you guys, I’m not sure what your plans were. You said you’re camping Friday night, are you camping Saturday as well?

I got the idea from (I think) @HolyHandGrenade They welded a lever to someone's back bumper to bend the "wing" back into place.

I think actually since we are going to help out with a clean up crew a little bit on Saturday morning...would you be ok if we came up to your place around 1-2ish? If it messes with your plans, then I can have my buddy drive up earlier and I can meet up a little later on. But I think right now we are thinking on getting the gusseting done on Sat, camp that night, then get sendy on Sunday.

How would that work for you?

Nice! Yup. That’s how we fixed Garrett’s rear bumper.

I think that should work. The sooner his truck is to me the better. Just in case there are unforeseen issues.

Sounds good I might see if he can do a drive straight to you and then I arrive later although his rig is like 8 months old so it’s pretty fresh.

YAAAS. On the real...would you have a way for me to remove my bed? Might try to extend my filler neck while you are getting that fab on.
