Morimoto LED XB Headlight review

So exciting. I know I have to wait longer, but glad people are getting theirs so far.

For those who got them, do you regret the purchase overall or excited still?

You can really see why Morimoto's Bi-LED's Dominate in output VS XB Projectors.


Overall size is very close. They will be a little tight, but nothing I can't handle

I wonder if MESO's house has LED's everywhere? Goes in the kitchen BAM lights, opens the kitchen drawer BAM lights, opens kitchen trash can BAM lights, opens toilet lid BAM lights. I wonder when he was little if he had a pair of LA Gear light up sneakers and BAM upgrade LED's.

Because why not?


Overkill? MOST DEFINITELY. More in projectors than the whole headlights cost. But triple low/high beam is going to be insane.

This is for my own personal tinkering. I doubt anyone would want to spend 3K on headlights

I bought the headlights just waiting for them to ship. Maybe one day I can swap the projectors as well

 

Great comparison pic! Larger reflective surface areas are far more efficient and project further at higher intensity than smaller ones. You might need sunglasses to drive at night.

I do it too. Only because they are prescription and I don’t wanna carry both glasses with me all the time. Makes me feel in a safe place when I see my doctor for my annual physical.

modeled some 3" M-LED real quick to see how they will fit and design some brackets. I think this is gonna work...
