    That's generally the state the OEM ones can be found in nowadays.

    There’s two more bushings at the bottom of the shifter, you didn’t replace those?

    There’s four total. The obvious one on the cab side, and one below the cab. You have to remove the rubber boot to get to it.

    Those were completely shot on my shifter too so I’d replace them. I’m running a 1999 4Runner shifter in my truck.

    Ahhh Bart is right, I thought you had a year model shifter that only used two. If you look towards the middle/end of my video I show you the whole thing and where all the bushings are :D.

    I think only the 2WD 4Runners used two. The 4WD 4Runners used four, they are identical to the Tacoma.

    You can mark me as installed. I'd recommend these bushings over OEM. I doubt they'll disintegrate nearly as quick if at all.
