    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
It’s actually more like a limo, especially with a longbed cap on it.

Looks aside, more high-center potential when off-road in a DCLB.

As much as I completely agree with your sentiment, trucks has always been very much about fashion. The early post-war trucks were highly designed, and not really utilitarian at all. Even modern purpose-built tractor trailers compete for their buyers with fashion. People love looking at them, which is fine.

Big Salad...you know what it is....LB have always been lame as fuck. I suppose because the tacoma is mid size people need it I guess. Just buy a bigger truck with bigger bed. How about we call it Lamebed instead of Longbed? :pccoffee:

When people ask why I didn't just go full size since I got the long bed.

I think the double cab long bed looks kinda like a limo. Too long for me. Went with the DCSB as a result.

Although length is similar. They are night and day different in terms of parking. Had a few Tacoma DCLB and a Crewmax. Moved to a city, could not stand driving the Crewmax downtown on 35s, parking and in traffic. Now living in a smaller town again, less congested. Parking is way better. Might make my way back to a Tundra again one day. Although I don’t tow anything that exceeds the Tacoma. A 6.5’ box and deeper box would be nice for hauling two snow bikes in the winter.

Tundra makes sense for some people. I don’t tow and just need it more for hauling so full size didn’t make sense for me.

The Cd numbers are interesting, being only thousandths apart yet with the LBs posting better numbers than the SBs.

Got a 2nd-gen ACLB. If they made a SR5 Regular Cab (or old-school no-door Extended Cab), I would've bought that.

edit: For a pure off-road rig, a regular cab with the 5' bed seems like the ultimate ideal, at least for a Tacoma.

Yeah... if you want an ugly truck look to the Gladiator. Although one could argue it's so ugly it's cute.

I think they should have used their old FC model as inspiration.
