A government official in Pakistan turned “cat-face” when a video filter was mistakenly turned-on during a live press conference.

Provincial Information Minister Yousuf Shaukat Zai, from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in north-west Pakistan, and member of the ruling party PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) was talking to local journalists at a press conference that was being broadcast via social media.

The event turned a bit awkward when cats ears and whiskers appeared on the minister's face during the live video.

The auto-filter soon caught his colleague, too, who then had a similar cat's appearance.

The video immediately went viral on social media but was later deleted from the political party's official page.

Responding to the embarrassing incident, PTI's social media team has called it a “human error” and said that “all actions have been taken to avoid such incidents in future.”

“Yesterday whilst covering a Press briefing held by KP's information minister Shaukat Yousafzai, a 'cat filter' was witnessed by the viewers which was removed within few minutes,” the party statement stated.

The minister concerned, however, appears to have not taken the matter too seriously.

He told the AFP news agency: “I wasn't the only one — two officials sitting along me were also hit by the cat filter.”

New Hampshire-based gym chain Planet Fitness says a poll found that “there’s an ever-increasing appreciation for and acceptance of the ‘dad bod physique.’”

More than 23 million men say they have a “dad bod,” and 71% believe that the trendy physique is universal accepted, up from 63% in last year’s survey.

The more favorable view of the dad bod also comes with a rise in body positivity – nearly 80% of men with a dad bod say they are happy with their figure. Both men and women overwhelmingly say a dad bod indicates that a man is comfortable in his own skin.

And these numbers might convince some men to embrace the dad bod for good. Sixty-five percent of Americans say the dad bod is attractive, 61% say men with a dad bod are sexy, and a slim majority (51%) say “the dad bod is the new six-pack.”

This is coming from the people who throw fit people out of their gyms because it creates too much discomfort in their out of shape members.

Ah yes. Intimidate and judge the woman there minding her own business because some other folks are so insecure they feel threatened by simply being in the presence of someone in better shape.

I guess the "No Judgement Zone" only applies to *some* members.

Strange the PF I go to is full of very big guys and some extremely fit females. I guess because we don't have many other choices. It's funny, I was in a city gym close by and it had a lot of soccer players and retirees. Fit but no one big. (had a court was it's draw)
This PF is FULL of giants....but it IS quiet. No ooohing each other on at all. Lots of Mexicans though so I think that's kind of normal for them. It is funny the soccer guys were Hispanic but from all over Cen. America. The Mexican guys/ gals have caught on that they like to be big and cut. And not tatted. Just some observations from the barrio.

Interesting. I do imagine the environment is a reflection of the community.

I don't end up in gyms much -- outdoor running is my go-to. Probably ought to start engaging in some maintenance weight training though as my birth year recedes into ancient history.

Firefox used to be the best but it started getting slower and clunkier, and I was forced to switch to Chrome.

    Now the opposite is happening.

Chrome is getting slower, clunkier, and buggier (not to mention a ravenous appetite for RAM) while Firefox is getting better and better.

When Google implements its updated versions of Chrome that Block Ad Blockers, I think they will cede the browser wars back to Firefox. (Opera is great as well and the built-in VPN is killer)

Google says they won't block the ad blockers.

    We can trust Google.

Edit: Trusting Google was meant to be sarcastic. The sarcasm didn't come across the interwebs well.

Gotta say, thats a pretty impressive size load these guys tried to smuggle in. I did the math:
    16.5 tons = 33,000 lbs
    33,000 lbs = 14,968.5 kilo's

    14,968.5 KILOS!!!!!

Back when I was in the military I was involved in this shit (early 90's), our biggest bust was a pittance by comparison, like $30 mill.....back then that was a lot. It was (3) military aircraft pallets, which are 10'x10' with kilos stacked 10' high. Biggest bust to date back then, and that's a weekend amount compared to this bust!!! Holy shit, that is a lot of blow!!
