    I am just interested in the thread, I do not know what opens the tail gate? I know the pop and lock works off your truck doors, but what makes the tail gate drop once you have that package, is there a separate fob?

    I recall it runs off the 3rd open signal.
    There will be module relay that should come in this kit made by @DSIM that detects the 3rd consecutive open door signal, which triggers the latch to open the tailgate.

    Also, it is written in the 6th post down...

    So stock fob only.

    Katie, apologies in advance for being dense. I ordered the Complete Full Package of the tailgate lock (in fact you’ve just shipped it). What else do I need for this? Is it just the Bolt-N-Lock Bracket and Rod, as I’m assuming the newer harnesses etc, are already modified to accommodate the opener? thanks.

    I feel that the tailgate power Lock as a whole kit should be called Bolt-N-Lock.
    And the tailgate power Opener as a whole kit should be called Bolt-N-Open.
    Both brackets being called bolt-n-lock, while being physically different, for different purposes, seems to be very confusing...

    Actually the Harnesses are different between the PNP Lock and the PNP Opener. That’s why I sent a message on the thread a little while back asking people if they were interested in the Opener to let me know because I could put their shipping on hold until the pricing and whatnot was figured out between the two. Sometimes it’s hard to know.

    What you will need is the second BNL Bracket for the Opener, Actuator, Integrated Harness (Optional - Depending on if you are going to run the additional wires yourself or not), PNP (Optional - Depending on if you are going to modify it yourself or have me). Then you will need to purchase the relay from DSIM when he releases it. Followed by the Shipping Fee.

    So this will work with a Fortin remote start? Hit the lock button three times starts the truck...hit the unlock button three times drops the tailgate. Nice!

    I obviously haven’t experienced it with any aftermarket fobs myself as I only have my own OEM inside the MESO Customs, but YES!! :hattip:
