OK, I've missed a few days! If you're interested in HAM radio and anywhere near the Huntsville, TX area my group is putting on a demonstration for our Field Day event. June 22nd, Saturday. We will be offering hotdogs and water for free for those that care to attend.

 

Pretty sure that is Chads MOM! She has the 4R.

Somewhere along the way, he might have said his wife was joining him, but don't recall where I saw that.

 

Um, I get to do that a lot, and our boys are quite older than needing daily care, but one doesn't "check out" of a "team project" and stay married for 30 odd years. The room has to be gutted for them to work, and she's not going to do that by herself. And, I can't just leave furniture out in the yards for a few days.....
So, I am planning on NOT having them schedule it on MY day, but since I still haven't heard from the contractors (typical!), I won't know until I know.

More packages arrived, while my wallet hid in the corner of the house. Pulled the trigger on a Max coupler for the scout trailer. I've read good and bad on both it and the lock n roll. In the end and with all the design revisions between the two, I felt this was my best option. Also if note, I got a realignment today and it made a huge difference. the place that did it before didn't do the best job. I got my caster pushed forward and no more slight rubs on the driver's side in those certain turns and compression. Also no more slight pull to the left I was feeling. I'm picking up one more big item on Sunday .. that I finally put the final nail in my wallets coffin with ha ha.

July, typically once you reach mile marker 4 the crowd is thin. Mile marker 8 and your basically alone. 4x4 a must or drive in low tide will get you as far as the East cut, no cell phone service.
