That's the problem, I have 2 sets of instructions, one says to torque the other says 5/8" of bolt showing. From the pics I see on here, no one has that much bolt above the nut.

Yeah, it's a pain, but I'd be looking at your lca, it made a massive difference for me!! Kinda wish I would have gone with the dirt King or the total chaos ones, but grad school. The stock bushings on lca are crap. Pm me if you got any questions

I had worn out LCA bushings at 30k, replaced with Total Chaos LCA’s and the ride quality was noticeably better.

I mean no guarantee, sometimes it's like opening up a can of worms. For me I strapped a GoPro like camera under there, and finally saw the play in my lca bushings. Got to make sure before you treat into the frontend!!

Yep, got them installed with some wiggling and turning the wheel. I'm going to need to touch up the paint on the front coilovers. For me, it brought a new definition to "bolt on".

Based on a recommendation, I decided not to mess with the alignment at all so I didn't drop the LCA. This was the main problem, if the LCA was not there then there would've been plenty of room.

I think next time, I'll drop the LCA and it should be much easier.

Also, a solid pry bar (3 ft. section of 2"x10" wood is what I used) to get some leverage between the LCA and the bump stop. This made it way easier to line up the bottom bolt.

I was planning to post again after putting in at least 500 miles and letting them all settle out.

Sent my fronts back to @AccuTune Offroad for a revalve. All I can say is WOW! @*TRD* hit a home run with the new 5703 tune! Really calmed down these hard and bouncy E rated 33’s”. Thanks team!

EDIT: 40 min ride with my wife and no complaints. In fact, she said “your truck feels so much smoother. Did you spend more money?” Nope!

1/4 turn of LS and 5 clicks of HS is the ticket for the daily commute.

She’s only ridden in the truck for less than 500 miles in three years.

LCA replaced. Sloppiness in the suspension is gone now but still not happy with the Fox shocks. Was expecting a much better ride for $2500 and custom tuning. Way too stiff. At speed going around a turn, if I hit a bump, I get airborne and the truck hops to the side. Not a good feeling. Pretty much stuck with it now since it's my DD and can't be without for a week or more while sending shocks back to Accutune. Would have thought they had the experience to get it right the first time. All details on the truck and it's use were provided. Not to mention the time and effort to remove, package, ship and reinstall or the shipping cost as they are not light. Just very disappointed and tired of explaining it's not some other component causing the rough ride. Nothing else was changed.

Hi Keith, I've seen several posts on here where you are not happy, and I am very sorry for that, but I don't see a single email from you. There are A LOT of very happy people on our suspension, and there is clearly something going on with yours that is out of the ordinary. We are happy to work with you and figure out what is going on and get your truck riding correctly, but you need to get in contact with us for us to help. -Ryan, Owner

Not saying I don’t believe you, but a “good” ride is subjective. I’d hate to see someone send their suspension to get “redone” and come back the same. It’s unfortunate that it’s hard to tell over the internet.

Subjective yes but for the money spent, I should be riding on a cloud, not fearing for my life when cornering over a bump. I've had this truck for 10 years and I know it's not a car and I don't want it to feel like a car. I felt safer on the old beat up leaky ICON's

Got my new 2.5 CO's with the DSC resi's installed last night. Super happy with the ride and tune from @AccuTune Offroad. Great customer service.

    20190624_212752.jpg

Although the included resi mounting bracket won't work for me since I have an aftermarket front bumper. So I had to fab up some simple brackets out of some flat bar to get them mounted for now.

When I flexed out the rear end of my truck to check for any contact, the front tire rubs the resi so i'm having trouble figuring out a solution other than getting wheel spacers or having the hoses extended which i'm trying to avoid.

Running 285/75r16 tires on SCS F5 0mm offset rims (4.5" backspacing)

Thanks for the pics, looks like you're going to want to get it as close as you can to the UCA as you can in the vertical position.

We do have these universal brackets which might be a good starting point: https://accutuneoffroad.com/product/universal-remote-reservoir-mount-kit/

Thanks for the insight. I'll mess around with it some more tonight to see if there is a better spot that's closer to the CO body.

Can anybody inform me, I installed rear fox shocks 980 24 670 (0-1") . I searched all over couldn't find a clear answer. Has any one paired a 1" block with these. Is it reccomended? Or advised against. If so, how much of the ride quality went down, if it did any. Thank you.
