Too busy at work watching the clock count down to 4pm when I go see the ankle doc to most likely get referred to a nerve specialist.

Even more fun was the meeting we just had which was 90% the same as the last 102 meetings we've had.

I go until mine dies, but I carry a jump pack in my truck. Received it from a secret Santa a few years back and has come in quite handy.

Been there done that. In all fairness wife was just treating herself to a massage after her latest round of cancer treatment. I just had no idea she booked this so I was not expecting that sight when I came home.

Busy working on the truck. Buttoned up a few things, reworked my spare tire/ bed storage since I haven’t done that this year yet (there’s a daily mode and a max bed space camping mode), and got the truck in the dirt for the first time since starting the cage/ revalving the front coil overs.

    New valving = wow
Being harnessed in = huge comforting feeling.

Ready for @Coot83 and the gang to come play this weekend.

I was just watching clips from those movies last night. I should probably rewatch them sometime.

Need gear? I’m pretty sure the roommate has some stuff still...

Working on the 71 like crazy lately. Got all new rubber seals everywhere but I'm having a hard time with the inner door seal.

Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to get these staples out of my door panel on the 71? The issue is right now the plastic is so brittle that trying to bend the staple out cracks/breaks the plastic. I'm thinking about using a dremel and seeing if I can cut/grind the ends of the staples off without fucking up the plastic to much.

Then question 2 is how do I re-attach it? Can't use staples, plastic will crack.

Cutting the staple will work, just time consuming.

    3m spray glue to reattach.

Do you think that glue is strong enough to hold the seal in place? I was thinking epoxy and then flex sealing the inside plastics to help them from getting worse.

It should be, now a days seals are just 3m adhesive on.
You could try 3m double sided tape first.

I love hot glue. I have a really strong high temp glue but I don't think I'd trust it for this. The glue I use will have to stick to the leather as it wraps around the curved part or the door. Hard to get a pic of it but I'm holding the part that is stapled on and the leather (or vinyl) is under it. I'll need an adhesive that works on leather and plastic.

Edit: was looking up that 3m spray stuff. That might do the trick, thanks.

If glue doesn’t hold it, last resort would be a few well placed rivets. I can assume this would just to keep the material from sliding off the plastic while being rubbed back and forth.
