I don't have many rounds through mine but I'm very happy with it so far.

Me too, it took a minute to figure out what it liked to eat but it runs smooth. Wish I had one for my G19 but I do not want to spend the money anymore. I have had this conversion kit for 18 years no telling how much money I have saved.

wait... is that slide a joke reference to the Hi-Power, or is that a serious label that has to be there?

It came that way (engraved) from Advantage arms. It was even colored in like that.

Magazine disconnect is a requirement in CA for certain guns. Since they were based here at the time I’m sure there has to have been some sort of requirement to add the marking to the slide. Womp womp.

Just saw they moved to ID. I wonder if the CA slides are any more valuable to residents here or not.

I was given a G48 recently by a good friend. I didn’t care for the slide color so i dropped it off to have the slide Cerakoted Black and somehow this happened. I kind of Wish I had just went plain Black, but it’s growing on me. Now to get the lower stippled and double trigger guard undercut. The 48 has a relatively slick grip.

I've been toying on building a Polymer80. That said, this site --> https://www.rockeybrass.com/Complete-Build-Kits_c_613.html <-- has the complete kits for $479 w/ free shipping. seems like a really good deal. i just can't pull the trigger though because i currently have a G22, G23 and G27 all with conversion barrels. there's just something that has be intrigued about 'building my own'. The other thing is that since i qualify for blue label, i can get a 17/19 with 3 mags for $450ish..

    Thoughts?

id save your cash. unless your planning on doing something really radical with the build, its probably better to start with an OEM glock frame.

Tough to justify screwing with the kit when you can buy a used one that's guaranteed to work for less than $400.

You buy a P80 for a pre-worked frame to do a part-for-part gucci build and/or an off the books gat. If neither of these things appeal to you, I'd go with a factory frame myself. (disclaimer, I'm building an ugly-ass stainless on Robin's egg blue P80 for the lulz, so I'm not exactly following my own advice here.)

Honestly not much to a p80 ‘build’.. drilling some holes and knocking off a couple of plastic chunks. Its not that satisfying lol

709C8DDE-5B46-4C5B-9F62-3B644F576C6E.jpg I had some second thoughts about this but I figured for $23. It was worth a try. I gotta say so far I like it. It keeps your hand high on the grip. Works with gen 3 & 5 mags. It say’s it will not work with 10 rd mags.

I managed to make my 10 rd mags work with it by sanding the corners of the floor plates down (I have a lot of extra floor plates after butting the vickers extended some of the mags for my 17 and 35). I still also have to slap them in pretty hard, but they can be made to "fit". Time will tell of the material I sanded off might make the plates break loose under the load from the spring after a while.

Does it work with the Magpul 10rd Pmags? those seem to be pretty inexpensive ($13 on their website, maybe cheaper elsewhere).

Does anyone have a 43X? If so, how do you like it?
I have a gen 5 19 along with an XDS 9 which is my normal EDC. I am looking into switching from the XDS to the 43X but would like some insight from current owners.
    Thanks in advance.
