Triple Bi will produce so much better high beam than the XB single.

    1 M-LED produces more low and high than all 3 XB's combined:cool:

Speaking of..when do yours come in?

    Yeah, those Bi-LEDs look sick.

Got them today, already hooked them up on my rack and tried them out for some initial testing fun. Will need to spend some more dedicated time with them though.

And this is why I almost want to have a retro done with the M-LED instead of the RX350 lmfao.

RX's are still the best. But I don't have the room for a standard length projector like that(they are too deep) and access to the bulb would be impossible. Which is why the M-LED fit the build perfect.

You’ll need more than 1 per side to outperform the RX350 projectors with quality HIDs.

    This is true.
Although not much, the MLED Isn’t too far behind the RX. Chip flip helps. more like 1:1.2:p
    So 3 should do it I hope:D
    what

I actually plan to angle them similar to what Acura does in their JewelEyes.
A few degrees and it shifts the hotspots for much more width of light.

    Since there are only 3, Im going to do something like;

    10°
    20°

Hopefully the cutoff will stay at the same or lower levels as they angle.

I can’t read this post because you’re lighting up the east coast from NorCal :)

These things are gonna be stupid bright. Does California inspect lights, too? I would love a live stream of the inspector’s (or referee’s) face when you click those bad boys on

How much more output do you really gain??
    Here's the answer:

    STOCK XB's @13V pulled 1.57A
    [IMG]

    Decent cuttoff. No color
    [IMG]

LUX(yes I know this isn't 100% accurate with LED readings..but if gives us some type of comparison.
And don't mind my dirty shop door
    [IMG]

    Now for the "TRI-LED"

13V was pulling just over 6A
    [IMG]

    3 cutoffs:

Final output? It was off the scale, to I had to move the meter to the next level so X the number by 10

    4X:eek:

California does not inspect vehicles, so no light inspection. California is pretty lax when it comes to vehicle "rules".

Very nice. I will say I would love to have that color in mine, but I know it won't happen unless I upgrade.

I’ve only failed a smog and told to go to the ref.. at which point I said I’d plate it in WV. They didn’t like that.. and I didn’t know / see if there were any other parts of the test.
