Where did you ride at @Sleipnir ?

 

Seguin Outdoor Learning Center! They built a dedicated mountain bike park from a grant with GVEC. They've got some pretty sweet downhill stuff and pretty good jumps

 

Going to try and ride down there again Saturday if you're down for a ride

 

if they are messing with around down there, they will be pleasantly surprised.

 

I thought I was going to be able to ride by next week. Toe is feeling a lot better. I can walk pretty normal now. But when I try to make a quick sudden movement its excruciating.

Hey any of y’all know where I could get some good fender flares?? Or if y’all think plastidip is a good option. I don’t feel like paying OEM prices

Yeah I have the quicksand ones... I wanted them in black but the dealership wanted to charge me like $400

Any tips? Is plastidip a good idea? The thing I’d be afraid of is having to retouch a bunch

 

Did you go to the doctor and see if it's broken? We'll have to make some time to get a group ride going somewhere good like spider mountain

 

Plastidip isn't permanent, so it'll work and last a good while

 

Sand em down and shoot em with some good matte black spray paint.

They are already mated to the fender. Will bolt right back up.


I'd just do that. $15-$20 in supplies and done.

Plastidip will peel well, and you could simply sand and respray.


Its a good option, especially since it is temporary.
