My guess is what @BassAckwards said. NGK and Denso matched their pricing to Toyota, so they went half and half. Plus if one supplier couldn't keep up, they already had a back up in line.

 

How easy do bugs wash off it? It's mufflehead season in Northeast Ohio and mayfly season is next.

 

For once in my life, I'm not struggling during lovebug season in Florida. The textured surface allows me to easily remove the little fu#@ers without scrubbing my paint off. I always throw an extra coat of polymer wax on front, so the bugs don't stand a chance. It's so much easier than getting them off the stock paint.

 

Ordered all the necessary brackets/clips to do the 2.5gen front end conversion. Just missing hood and headlights at this point.

 

question.. does anyone know if the bakflip mx4 for the 3rd gen will work on the 2nd gen?

Had my resonates deleted, and true duals added with the flow master 10 super series. Sounds amazing. Probably to loud for most though.

 

The tailgate and the front of the bed are different from 2nd gen to 3rd gen. I assume the gasket is different on the backfilp.

Done with my road trip . 16 days 5200 miles. Now it’s time to change spark plugs and do an oil change again. Actually I’ve got a long to do list starting.

Looking her over today, I’m wondering about the LCAs... seems like there’s been some clunking going over bumps.

Do these need replaced? Looks like a lot of space to me...
