    Man, being a landlord sure sucks at times.

    The heat pump at the condo died and needs replacing ASAP.
    Some piping needs replaced too and the contractor needs access to the closets in the two units above.
    Bad design. :mad:
    Heat pumps are on the roof.

    The asshole on the 3rd floor refuses to cooperate. He's a renter.
    Even after I politely pointed out the HOA bylaws stating he cannot refuse access for necessary repairs.
    I had to sic the Home Owners' association and the property management company on him.
    Also the owner of the unit
    I wasted a good part of the day scheduling this business with the contractor...
    ...getting permission from property management for them to be on the roof...
    ...negotiating access from the owners of the units above...

    I'm reminded of the saying about herding cats. :p
