    Brand new Tacoma with bed extender. No tailgate lock on Tacoma. Little bit of a disappointment.
    No Lock = very easy to steal tailgate and / or bed extender.

    Put a heavy duty cable tie on the right side barrel "hinge"

    Easy...clean...no paint scratches...effective...free.

    Valid complaint, we've just seen it a ton.

    I have the PopNLock and the "hose clamp mod". Redundancy is key.
