Back when I was looking at the 8112’s they had just come out and were a lot cheaper. Since their rise in popularity, Bilstein caught on

    Are you surprised?

This is the tech resource for hashtag tacoma on instagram. I came here to learn that you cannot wheel anywhere, not even on the highway or costco parking lot without a $6k suspension, prinsu rack and 33's bare minumum.

I stick around for the comedy and ricer factor.

I went with the Tacoma baja kit PTR13-35120-AA on my 2019 OR got it new for $600 about 6 months ago on eBay. I love it rides so much better.

Bro, it’s the same mounting points from 2005-Present. Just listen to us. Go look at some of the truck that people are posting replies to your question. I think they know what they are talking about.

Same suspension though. There is zero difference from 2016-2019

Again, please tell me the differences, I have not found any, but if there are I would like to know. I’m getting closer to the point where I’ll start messing with a lift.

There isn’t. Same platform, same frame, but 2016 didn’t come with the silly grill radar stuff

What leaf pack are you running?

Also, any side shots of the truck? How much preload?

That’s what I believed, but the OP has been saying there is a difference and they know how to research. So, I have been waiting for him to drop some knowledge.

Looks solid man. How are the imperfections and bumps in the road with those front shocks? Hows the bumpsteer?

I haven’t beaten it up too bad yet but it’s eaten up everything that I’ve encountered so far. It is planted to the road. No bumpsteer. It keeps getting better as I get my armor. I have 700# springs and still waiting on front bumper. Just did sliders, rear bumper and full skid package last week

Nice. Good thing you chose the 700# springs that was a solid decision. I’m jelly.

I reeeeally like my ADS, but I’ve always wondered what those 8112’s feel like
