That's gonne be quite a bit cheaper than cerakote, based on my research in gun work. Yeah, cerakote would be pretty cool, but typically, you're looking at $70 to $100 on pistol frames, hand guards, things of that size. Without ever seeing the prices listed, I would take a guess that you'd be looking more in the neighborhood of 200 per, due to the size. Could be wrong though...definitely an option worth the look...Also, if you have a big enough oven and didn't want to go the air cure route, you could always do the painting and curing yourself.

    how much is lift time?
it cost me $40/hr locally here at DIY garage, had a hard time solo getting my lower fuel shield/skid (that I recently had cleaned and powdercoated) had to balance the thing on my head trying to get at least 3 new bolts in and wrenching it tight
also attempted to change the fuel filter but dammit that thing is torqued on (last changed in 2oo1 or 2oo3) Toyota claims this to be a lifetime part however some beg to differ ... the filter element does get dirty in there! ... I remember too well my old late 70's Toyotas with the little plastic clear fuel filter on the topside connected between rubber hoses... so much easier to put new one on those!

for $100-200 per wheel, why wouldn't you just buy new rims that were the right color?

    $40 an hour is good!
I don’t have a specific amount. But I don’t just put it on the lift and say here you go. I do most the work. And my Father in law owns the shop with 35+ years experience with cars. We get in a bind, he unfucks it. I like the peace of mind.
