After reading a while here, I wanted to post this. Some wisdom from my late father, who was a mechanic in WWII.

He once told me that all it takes for an engine to work are three things: Fuel, air and spark. If you have too much of one of those or not enough of one of those then you will have problems. They all have to work in balance with one another. I know his wisdom came from vehicles that had carburators and in todays world of new transportation those are no more. Basically the carburator has been broken down into fuel injection run by the computer. Which includes Mass Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, Coil Packs or "a coil pack", vacuum hoses, fuel injectors and a hand full of other sensors.

If you are a young shade tree mechanic then this will help you at least start to find whatever issue you might be having as we all know that with today's motor problems can cause us to starting thinking at the speed of 100 mph about what is wrong. Instead of starting with the basics.

Like I said, only a basic starting point. Hope this helps anyone that may read it.
