Because I love your posts I won’t flame you into reading my build thread. :hattip:
It's a Curt front receiver that I welded two chunks of 2” square tube for the offset rigging. I prefer a detachable winch capability, so I can mount front or back for recovery and to limit weight/wear when it’s frequently not in use. The Modified Curt bolts to the factory frame mounts. Helps to have a female with nice hands to help wrench it as it’s a tight squeeze getting the nuts started in more ways than one. :ballchain:

This happened to be the brand this particular shop preferred. I used to be a Katzkin dealer and installed several sets over the years. When I went in to order the interior, my guy told me this is the brand he's been using. They are on about the same level.

I went with a semi texture finish that should hold up better to wear than smooth.

It was open all the way through! They finally cleared the downed trees! My only concern was due to the rains exposing a lot of shale in some areas; could ruin your day with a flat or two! Other than that it was nice to get away from the regular hustle and bustle of people. Are you in Monterey?
BTW..checked Monterey County road closures for highway 1 and Big Sur and they only showed Palo Colorado Canyon Road being closed! :D
