Carbs are good! Says the cardio junky!

Good evening all. 3 weeks post surgery today so to celebrate I swam 1900m, biked 5 miles and “ran” 3 miles (weird no impact running thing). Knee is really feeling great!

Will start filing a chemical exposure claim after I get my knee surgery

El Toro was really bad not just from the Solvents and getting direct skin contact but from the burn pit located just a few hundred yards from my shop

Crash crew would pour anything flammable into these pits and burn it .I would have thick acrid clouds of smoke over my shop

Over the last year or so I've been experiencing hand tremors that's becoming more frequent now

Wonder how easy it is for you to fill that in California... Thanks to Cali and CARB they are white and not DOT approved. None of them are. I have 2 LC2's for the Ranger

    Gas cans LC2.jpg

Where I spend time on the North Shore of Lake Superior the nearest gas station is often more than 60 miles away. Never been questioned when filling them in Mn. then again it is rural and near the Canadian border

Did I mention none of them are DOT approved? But are awesome when you need to lift them up when full and fill in a hurry.

Carbs are evil. For most people. Bread has a Glycemic Index of 1.0 as a baseline for carbs. Just saying... But damn carbs taste good.

Same as high saturated fats are actually better for you than vegetable oils, but will take a long time to turn that ship around even though the evidence has been around for a long time. On both carbs and fats. Look at the diet of a diabetic as a start and think about that one. But not all of us process carbs the same and that throws a curve in the methodology and results.

Mike the fuel jugs I've got are very easy to fill and to dispense gas is also very quick

The flow valve is the same design as a Nascar fuel can so I can tip upside down and no flow of fuel until the collar has pressure on it . Also same flow rate as the clear plastic hose on yours

    Peerunner to a 4x4?

Yikes, it is alot of work and $$$.

Make sure it isn't cheaper to buy a used 4x4.

If you still want to convert then go to a wrecking yard in Sun valley and pull the trans off a 4x4.

Or just take off the peerunner badge and buy some 4x4 mud flaps

Chuck go back and read my post again. I am saying because of California and CARB Regs they are not legal to fill at the pumps. Anywhere. They are not DOT approved. Because California. Not an issue here for me yet anyhow no has questioned me... Legally no one should allow you to fill that container in Cali. Or any other State. Because those containers "might" be sold in Cali and are not DOT certified for fuel then no one should legally be allowed to fill them. At the pumps.

Inbox is getting is swamped with emails from California ammunition ban that is coming up. I sold quite a few guns over the last couple months and based on Ca. laws I said no sales to Ca. or NY. Hope you have lead in stock to throw.

The weather is NOT that nice there just saying..

Hasn't broken 80 here yet and every week it stays in the 70's prolongs the corn and bean harvest. 2-3 weeks delay on getting it in the ground this Spring because of rain and are a month behind. Don't want to pay to dry corn or beans but right now most farmers will be happy with just getting the crops harvested before the snow hits.

The deer and pheasants will stay in the fields until they are cut. Going to be a hard year for those that hunt those. Timber and Aspen cuts are looking good though for ruff grouse and snowshoes. Well above the agriculture level. And people.

    Mike ....
According to Summit racing the fuel jug I've got with the pull to open full flow valve like what is on mine i believe is CARB approved with a CARB EO# G09-002

I know the jug isn't color coded red for gas or yellow for diesel . Here where I live in the Desert there is many trucks driving around with fuel jugs in the beds . Also there are numerous places here where you can purchase race fuel legally as long as you have container to store / transport the fuel . These race fuel dealers dont have any problems filling these jugs /cans that are probably not approved

I wouldn't have been able to order this fuel jug if it wasn't CARB approved . Summit is really strict on CARB compliance parts sold to California residents

    Good morning friends.

Haven't been overly chatty. Crap on the mind...

Ugh, elderly parents. Dad's become very angry and difficult. It's like reliving my childhood. After I left the house, he had changed to being more friendly and caring. Evidently that's gone out the window. Fun times!
