It’s for when you decide to hit the dunes on your way back from rock crawling. Though I throw the stock bedsides back on for gnarlier trails.

@MESO you do you, I get it.

And anyone in need of wheel spacers, I will soon have a pair of no name 1” spacers up for sale. Recently switched to dual limit straps up front and need the extra clearance at full lock. Was originally planning on solving clearance issues with new wheels later this year, but going to dual limit straps I need more clearance now. Ordered some no name brand 1” spacers but they only came in a set of 4. 6061 aluminum forged spacers with 10.9 (grade 8) studs. I’ll make a proper for sale add for the 2 I don't need once I receive them this weekend, but if anyone seems interested pm me and we can start talking.

I have considered cutting my glass and going with a high clearance as well as IMO it’s more functional then what I have with a regular pelfrey rear bumper. If I ever come across a good deal on a high clearance I would probably slice my bedsides.

The CBI H/C is coming off. But I didn’t feel like removing it for the bedsides so I cut them:/. Will most likely do a tube rear. Needs to be wider to match up with the glass

Doesn’t look that bad. Unless you are sold on ditching the bumper you could have a fab shop cut a couple plates to slightly widen what you have to match the fiberglass a little better.

I keep my stock bedsides for more intense crawling trails and glass for most uses. Bumper fits well with both.

Can’t build a bumper if there aren’t body lines to follow.

I wonder if you could modify my existing bumper and put the hc arms on it?

Funny as I just installed my set of rcv axles on Monday. I think we have the same axles assuming your burg kit is a 3.5 kit. I like the finish on the axle shafts...pretty cool that they stamp them with a date and serial.

Same route I went. Ditched my CBI when I went to rear glass and built a hybrid tube/plate bumper.
