That looks so scammish, especially what looks like a personal email address representing Hooke Road with poor choppy grammar for a business. I would call Hooke Road directly regarding any online orders placed on their products in this case.

To a forum or thread? At the top of the page there will be page numbers on the left side. Just to the right of those it should say "Watch Forum" or "Watch Thread". Just click on that and then it will ask if you want it with or without email nofitifications for that thread or forum.

Updates. I replied back with "either cancel my or order or honor the price given with the correct rack with no numbers" and below is the reply I got.

"Spencer, I tried my best to applied the price for you with our manager 3rd times and got the special price for you.
And the pacakge is on the way to you.
If have any other problem and need help, Please don't hesitate to reach out to us."

I found the Hooke-Road roof rack on eBay a few months back for $222 w/shipping, and went to AutoZone for the Trimbrite Carbon Fiber adhesive film and the Cowles Black StyleGuard door trim so I could rest the front wind deflector down onto the roof so it doesn't vibrate. This rack is extremely heavy duty and about $500 less than the very nice Prinsu roof rack.
I'm going to add a 42" slim LED across the front wind deflector soon.

    Good job man
I like how that turned out and thanks for sharing. I've been contemplating this rack and I would definitely put a protective between the rack and roof like you did. Plus the carbon fiber pattern looks pretty cool compared to just a solid black strip.

Looks to be the exact same as the Hooke, just $70 cheaper. They used the exact same pictures. How was your experience with the seller?

Edit: Just read through the descriptions of each a bit more. Although one is $70 cheaper, they charge $70 in shipping, while the Hooke is free to ship.

Another option is this one with led's:

Are people just removing the drip molding? Looks tacky without it. Can this be installed like prinsu where you drill through the drip molding and use spacers?

I'm happy for those who rock this rack and like it but I can see where there will be customer service issues if email is the only source of contact for a company. Even the return policy on the U-Box website make it seems like you are stuck with the item if it needs to be returned for any issues. I can't imagine having to pay for return shipping on an item like this.

Thanks. It was still a very scammish and an unsettling experience. I personally will not buy from hooke off-road or u-box off-road again.
