2 problems... The fairlead on this one at least is going to be a built in hawse style made out of aluminum tubing. Also, there isn't enough space vertically above the hitch for the license plate so the tailgate wont hit it when you lower it.

 

I vote to tape it to the inside of the back window like a temp plate

 

You could mount it off-center, just let the bottom hang down below the bumper and wait for it to inevitably snag on something and get bent.

Best of the bad options.

It wont fit there. It's too tall to fit between the hitch and tailgate. Fairlead location is absolutely a no go.

 

Can you get the small plates? Or are those only allowed for trailers and motorcycles?

 

Not allowed. And trimming is not allowed. First thing I checked.

 

If there is t going to be a swing out, do one of those “in tailgate” listen we plates like guys used to do on mini trucks. You could even cock it side ways a bit... ya know.. for style points
