Dammit, I have a 2019 TRD Pro with this issue as well. It's done it since the day I got it and I only have about 1500 miles on it.

So I've been following this thread because I have been experiencing the issue. Its a shake from the rear when I start braking. In my previous post, I mentioned you could feel the feedback through the steering wheel but alas, I was wrong here. Seems to directly come from the back.

I thought I could last until the first service, but I decided I would make an appointment and see what they can do.

Does anyone have a TSB number or any sort of info I can present to the dealer?

They're keeping it overnight, say a Toyota expert should look at it closer tomorrow..

My experience is similar to yours. The vibration is there anything I’m slowing down from 30, whether I’m on the brakes or just coasting. And I noticed vibration today in slow traffic, between 30 and 35.

Did u happen to drive the truck with a couple hundred pounds or more of weight in the bed and see if it still does it?

My truck was experiencing this. The first dealer I took it to said it was normal. They had to locate another manual trans to compare it to. Didn't have any on the lot and ended up using an employees truck. They claim that one was doing the same thing, hence the normal diagnosis. I was at about 4200-4500 miles. I rolled my eyes at them. Decided I've had my dealership look at it when I hit 5k. A month or so later I finally hit 5000 and went to my dealer. I told them everything that was going on and about the other dealer. They did all the 5k stuff and then inspected the vibration. They said they found the rotors and drums both warped. So they turned all of them. Vibration is gone for now. We'll see how long it lasts.

Just got a call from my dealership that had had my truck 2 days.
They want me to come ride with them in my truck and describe to them what I am feeling again because I quote him from over the phone, "we think what you are experiencing may be normal for these models"..

it's been noted in these threads that the drums aren't in spec from the assembly plant , also the brakes & rotors are tighten way too much , the axles having their problem with pinion angles , all these problems are originating from the plant . wondering when the government is going to step in ?

They did have a local Toyota specialist on site. We drove mine with 4,200 miles & a new one with 8 miles.
New one did not do it, he agreed, he felt mine vibrate a few times.
He mentioned if a TSB did not match the VIN that it may be an uphill battle with Toyota. Just left there.
He mentioned the driveline angles and torque specs will be checked again but if Toyota will not give him the go ahead that his hands may be tied
I did find it interesting that he mentioned the possibility of a soft leaf pack potentially causing a bad driveline angle at certain speeds when stopping when the nose dives and the rear springs flex upward.
Maybe these leafs are too soft to begin with?
They kept my truck to recheck some of the afformentioned potential issues.
He did finally say that if his hands end up being tied on the amount of repairs he can currently do, that it would be best to bring it up directly to Toyota..

My truck had the exact same problem from day one , my dealership tried the drum/axle tsb and it didn’t do much but just last week they called me and told me the leaf spring tsb was rereleased and my vin fell inside the parameters , they installed the new leaf springs and my decel vibes at 20 mph are pretty much gone . The new spring packs really helped my truck

I’m sorry I don’t have the number right now , it was the one that came out in 2016 for leaf spring replacement and steering wheel dampener install , they extended it up to include 18 and 19 model years recently . Here’s the part numbers they installed image.jpg
