Good to know. I'm not going to add much/any weight any time soon. This is still my daily of about 27 miles one way.

I have a single AAL on my truck and hate how it rides with the bed empty. What do you plan on doing with your truck?

Here is a progressive AAL. https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p210/HeadStrong_3_leaf_progressive_Add-a-leafs_with_u-bolts_(PAIR)_-_HS-TOY055-3AL.html

What about the ride do you hate? Too stiff or bouncy?

I've seen a lot of cheaper kits that just use the 1" or 1.5" block spacer. I'm looking at more of a complete system b/c the shocks & struts are going to need to be replaced as well due to age. I figure it's best to just do it all at once.

Too stiff, thus bouncy. It also bent my factory leaf pack, so that doesn’t help.

Honestly, if you are not wheeling hard or towing a lot, a block in the rear will be much better than an AAL.

Right! It could be a good way to go broke quick! Apparently there are a few companies that do. But they use a very heavy slider. Personally I'd rather take a few dents and save some weight.

Here they are on the rear on a Chevy 63 swap, I will be using them on the front and they will have a pin so I can lock them.

Interesting. That looks like a pretty neat design. These are pretty wicked too!

They allow more articulation. It's like a heim or uniball for your leafs. Pretty neat. I have too much time on my hands with finding stuff like this lol.

Wish I would of seen those before maybe I could of added even more headache to getting shackle angles right to the 63 swap

i like that you're building it yourself, but did you not use a kit when doing the YJ spring swap.

I thought you had a sky manufacturing kit which comes with the similar setup .

I know what you mean, I have completely rebuilt my Samurai twice. Just looking for all the travel I can get. I have plenty of shock travel but I may have to use limit straps to keep the drive shaft from coming apart.

Anybody in the HSV have a reliable AC guy? This is about the 5th time I have had to get my home AC worked on and I'm afraid this time might just be the last time my current unit breaks. It is still the original unit that came with the house when it was built in 09. It went out sometime around 9-930 according to my Nest and I woke up to a super comfortable 78 degrees:frusty: Im so over this house I could lose my mind! :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:
