Hell yeah! I know Taco Chino, he's good people! I don't know why I follow this thread so much. I'm not able to attend most years. I'm just here for the badass SPI pics.

Erockintaco actually shipped his rig from Texas to Italy! Crazy right! It's a sweet rig, and he overlands with his rooftop tent in different parts of Europe. @ernestoalonzo_ is his Insta, his pics are dope.

 

Gonna half to check it out, some. Ice places over there.

haha yeah, I tried to make it out to 10th Annual but I can only be there in early July.

Thanks for the clout! haha there's not much offroading here but I do my best without getting in trouble haha. Can't wait to catch up with you dude.

 

So how the other side of the pond like your Tacoma, can imagine you get lots of questions.

 

There isn't a big off roading scene here. So my truck gets alot of attention here. They have very few Toyota Hilux's (or other midsize trucks) here but they're not modified. They have to go to a certified shop to put on a lift kit, and alot of paperwork/money goes into it. So I understand why they stay clear from it. I love cruising on the freeway but anywhere else is a little nerve-wrecking. Most parts here have narrow roads, my Tacoma can barely squeeze into parking garages (without the RTT), and parking it is a pain. I rather park it out of the city and walk in. A full size truck would be impossible to have here... When I do see other offroaders they're usually are from a eastern european country, and they try to show off by flying by me and stare me down. I think the Tacoma is beautiful compared to the Hilux. And I'd like to think they think so too haha. Or they're just questioning why I have such a big truck? That's the biggest question I get.

 

Went to England last summer and was really hoping to see some Hilux while I was there, I think all I saw was two...but did get to see a bunch of old land rovers which was cool. Ya they do drive a bunch of small vehicles.

 

I'm sure there's more in England. It just depends if you're in London or the country side. I hung out with a few Scottish people here I met in the city center. I eavesdropped on their conversation and jumped in after hearing their offroading stories. Then I went Scotland in November and there was a hell of alot of trucks out that way. I thought, to myself I'm in the wrong country haha. I stick out like a sore thumb in Italy.

 

Was in London for a short spell, if I go back again I'm avoiding that area. Whales was really cool, the Keltic mix up there with the mix of cultures is much more enjoyable. We wanted to make Scotland but just didn't work out and we were passengers so....

 

Less than one month!
