You have a deal, that sounds awesome! It looks like I can bring some cool toys out there too to mess around with that you’ll dig. If you do get in a bind, call me. You and Dwayne are right, I do LOVE IT!!

To each his own my friend! CO is a beautiful place as well for sure! For me its too cold, not the best gardening, and I don't want to see all those rooftops in my view. Also small yard which is great for ease of maintenance but not as good for when I want to mark my territory wherever I please. :D

Id offer for you to come out but you always blow me off!

Funny though, a few months ago I didn't know my new ride (still researching) would be a zero turn mower! Don't worry, I already am planning on some kick ass stainless exhaust when I get it. That bitch is going to do wheelies when Im done with it!

I know there are riding places near by. Don't know yet if we can ride from the house. We can just tell the neighbors we will trough their land and prep it for planting by practicing starts on the 500cc monster! Instant land prep!

Big shout out to @Roostfactor for the awesome customer service and for creating a masterpiece! My friends and I did a big install today (URD headers, MAF calibrator, Roostfactor y pipe, and URD exhaust) and Roost’s y pipe was a treat to install. The butt dyno definitely felt a difference. This setup is quieter than my old MBRP exhaust and pulls harder. There is a slight rasp but no drone. The y pipe is one of the best mods I’ve done for my truck. Any cutting or welding required? Or did it all work out to be bolt-on? Looks amazing

No welding just a lot of sweat and blood (ripped knuckles). Some of the studs are in awkward positions. It’s really helpful to get a fine toothed stubby ratchet. I also sprayed the crap out of the bolts with kroil.

Wow good eye! We pulled them in order to take off the armor underneath.

I figured it may have been something like that, but I did do a double take at first!

Figured i should leave this here since this i havent posted since my new exhaust was installed.

Now running a TRD Catback with 14" borla pro-xs muffler and a 3-2.5" reducer to mate my JFR ypipe up to the TRD Catback.

Video has some cruising early on and a little WOT near the end

Sounds way good! I like it better than the AFE setup.

I have a little experimentation of my own planned this weekend for exhaust......Can't wait to play around!

Thanks man! Im digging it too, so much quieter, and doesnt seem to have lost much power. I still need to do some data logging to confirm though. What you have planned for yours?

Hmmm.... I plan to play around with this concept: https://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/85/d2/bc/90ffb6616650e0/WO2014126548A1.pdf

    5b8351305f590_2019Silveradoexhaust.thumb.jpg.669164b637d94d0831c0ad1559530e93.jpg 5b83513776d08_2019Silveradoexhaust1.thumb.jpg.ed5182904fe218e9e6135e64058dfc80.jpg

The US domestic market 2019 Silverado's came with a new feature this year. They did away with the can resonators and went with exhaust bleed holes covered in micro mesh. The silverado owners are flummoxed by them. Some say they can pop on a Flowmaster Super 40 and until they put exhaust clamps over the screens or cut the screens and pipe off, the exhaust is so muffled they can't hardly hear the difference.

I think mainly because I have a FULL cab running the length of the exhaust, I'm picking up some fruity resonance in the cab with my configuration: URD Headers, JFR Y pipe, flex coupler, Magnaflow 14579 (the largest "straight through" offering), Vibrant ultra quiet resonator, to high tuck tip under the bumper. It's weird, because I can't hear that at all outside and I have zero drone. I really just want to drop out the resonance, and if it ended up a little quieter, I'd be OK with that too. It sounds great outside the truck though, I'll tell you that. Does not sound like a typical 1grfe.

I've ordered 3" butt clamps and some micromesh samples to play around with. I also looked into different muffler options and I found out that Magnaflow also offers a turbo style muffler that is considered to be a chambered design. They make them in many different lengths, so I got a 24" case (30" overall) Magnaflow XL 3 Chamber to try out. This would replace my 22" case 28" overall length split flow straight through magnaflow. You tacoma guys, I would assume, be able to fit a longer muffler if needed. Here's the one I'm going to try on: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-13742

This is quite interesting.. Never heard of this before, sounds like a good option for those of use who want to quiet things down perhaps without sacrificing lots of performance. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this. So im guessing the bleed holes are just like pinholes drilled into the exhaust piping, and then the mesh goes over that?

I really don't know. I'm planning on doing a 1.5 or 2" hole in the butt clamp and a 1" or 1.125" hole in the exhaust pipe. I'll sandwich a square section of mesh between the clamp and the pipe....Or I suppose I could just take a bore-scope down to the dealership and play proctologist for a day. Can't wait to explain that one to a salesman.

I hadn't either! This could be the magic bullet to attenuate unwanted frequencies!
