Mobil 1 rebates

Fellas,

Just wanted to throw this out there, prolly gonna cost Mobil 1 some loot with this post lol. Whilst I was reading the "when should I do 1st oil change" thread I thought about heading over to the Mobil 1 site to link some info. To my surprise they have some rebates going on. I had to change both my Tacoma and wife's Corolla so I had purchased two 5qt jugs and two 1qt containers. I qualified for two $12 rebates, each 5qt jug cost me 25 so in essence I just about got one for free. Just figured I'd share the wealth with you guys. I did see in the fine print you can not order the oil from Amazon, I bought mine at walmart. Here is some info and the web page.

Guys should definitely take advantage of the rebates, havent paid full price for oil in the past 5 or 6 years.

Nice, for this rebate it states purchases must be made between April 1, 2019 - September 30, 2019.

 

If you keep your eyes on their website they will run that promotion a couple times a year, i usually buy 2 at a time so I always have some in the garage.

That's usually what I do. I always get them when their on sale. I think this rebate also applies to buying 6-qt as it states buy 5 qts and get $10 rebate. I haven't read the fine print.

 

Got my $48 in the mail about a month ago.

 

That’s not bad for instant savings but I’d rather get the 10q for $26.

About to buy diff oil for front/ transfer/ rear service

Yes just for motor oil. I have not seen any for gear oil sorry.

 

costco here in hawaii has the same price but no 0w-20, they have 5w-20 .

 

That's the route I go. I always stock up whenever they run that sale.

 

Bought (4) 5qt jugs of Mobil-1 Syn 0-20 at Walmart for $22.88/ea. Filled out rebate online - easy peezy - and attached a picture of the receipt. Got $48 check emailed to me today! Fantastic deal!!! Thank you for the heads up
