Thanks. It was killing me to think of taking brand new wheels off and paying 6-700 for black but I found a paint thread and seeing yours on same cavalry blue just sealed it.

 

You did a Very clean job. I plastidipped all the silver on my 14 FJ when I got it. Side bumpers, side mirrors, bumper plate inserts and the grill insert and it has all held up well. Some knicks in it here and there, but I like the look. I didn’t do the wheels though, left them be.

This looks great too! So, I’m guessing you used actual paint procedure, not rattle cans? Did you take tires off then spray, or just tape off?

The chrome Toyota emblems pop right off. If you push them from the back side

 

Sorry, didn’t mean the chrome emblems on yours. Just the chrome look of the wheels. THat little chrome is actually a nice accent. I was thinking of red for the emblem when I paint. Was going to use the red on the emblems and the tow hook up front.
