Most OEM console lockers are made by Console Vault for the manufacturer.

Yeah... "No Firearms Allowed". That's French for "Hey bad guys, you want some free shit or want to rape someone? Come on in 'cause we're completely F%@*IN' defenseless in here!" Yeah, this thread has struck a nerve.

It bolts from the inside of the safe to the floorpan. Only way to get to the bolt is on the inside of the safe.

In Pennsylvania we have a "License to Carry Firearms." It doesn't say "concealed" or "open". I never understood the "concealed" necessity. You're either carrying or you ain't carrying.

From my understanding, you can enter such establishment as long as it isn’t a federal/government building and such. say you to go to the theater and they have a sign, you can enter it concealing and IF they happen to find out all they can do is kick you out because it is a public space and that’s their policy, not the law. Laws may vary state to state but here in Oregon it’s pretty open besides government buildings and such so research is needed for every state.

Personal preference. There are alot of people that act funny at the sight of a gun so I prefer to avoid the drama and carry concealed. Also, I know the studies dont say so, but I feel if I happen to be standing in the gas station some dude is getting ready to rob and I have a gun in plain sight, he's going to make me a priority. Id rather hes just as surprised as I am.

Regardless of signage, if they ask me to leave and I leave....no harm done. If I refuse, they can have me criminally trespassed.

I’m doubting that’s even legal in CA, because you’re not supposed to transport your firearms with a full mag or any rounds in it.

If you have a CCW it has to be on your person, period.

Isn’t LEO and militarily personal the only ones that can conceal carry in California?

"California is a “may-issue” state, meaning that local law enforcement has discretion when issuing carrying concealed weapons (“CCW”) licenses. A license may be issued only after findings that: 1) the applicant is of good moral character and, after a background check, is found to be not prohibited by state or federal law from possessing, receiving, owning, or purchasing a firearm; 2) good cause exists for the issuance of a license; 3) the applicant has completed a firearms safety course (see below); and 4) the applicant meets the appropriate residency requirement.4"

Like that in TX as well now.
Just called LTC, License To Carry, no matter where on your person.
Gotta love AZ rules on this though!

For perspective, as a Canadian, without prejudice towards rights, what I do like about cdn regs, is that you have to pass a firearms course, determine you are mentally stable, before a permit to own, or purchase including ammunition is provided. The other component is that the same standard is applied nationally.

And a lockable vault can be used for multiple things besides weapons.

    No.
Some counties are very easy to get one whereas LA county is as you said Leo, judges, politicians (such as Diane Feinstein).

CA does not have any legal open carry.
I believe that you are allowed to have a firearm at your campsite, it’s an odd extension of castle doctrine.

    This is inaccurate.

Prohibited in any state or federal facility unless otherwise noted. Parks differ.
