OEM headlights not shining on corner with a slow turn

searched in lighting and this thread. So OEM lights 2019 SR when turning slow like onto a cross street or into a driveway, there is a dark area off the corner that the headlight does not shine on.

Hard to explain but some trucks have lights that move towards the turn or that shine into the turn.

Anyone notice or just me?

Tacomas don't come with turning headlights. With the exception of some minor adjustments, mainly up and down, what you see is literally what you get.

 

Dang it! I'm selling this hunk of crap.

Seriously, though, I haven't noticed a dark spot or checked the beam pattern really. Headlights these days are so much better than they used to be.

 

OP you might want to try putting H9 bulbs in there for the low beams.

U sure you're not just noticing through the tinted side window? Instead of the windshield?

Anyway, might try a H9 bulb, ditch lights good idea and thought I was looking straight out the windshield but will check. thanks for the reply all.

 

If you can get oem fogs, that will get rid of that for you. The tacoma headlights suck without some driving fog lights.

Upgrade your fogs to some bright LED’s. They have some adjustments also to shoot them out to the side. Mine shoot almost 90 degrees to the side of the truck.

As mentioned turning headlights are not offered on Tacoma’s but to pile on that’s a premium feature that even if it was offered with likely not be offered on the SR since it’s the base model. Add a set of factory fog lights or aftermarket LED fog’s, and check out @Nitori’s thread on adding them using the factory wiring.

 

Thanks, I new they weren't offered but tried to use that to describe the issue. Good tip on @Nitori, appreciate it! Fog lights may be the fix too.
