What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

3D printed some spacers for my driver and passenger seat similar to the ones sold on here made out of aluminum. Turned out great and only took a couple of hours to print all four.

ARB Bumper on and leveling1/2 spacer with the 17' TRD OR Springs leveled it out good...enough for me anyway.

I’ve been running cheap Autozone switches for the last 7 years and just adding on as needed but it was time for an upgrade.



Finally bought all the parts and built a proper switch panel.

 

what size tires are ya runnin? any lift?

Drove it, to the dealer to pick up some parts and to order some stuff.
Now I'm doing research on CB installs and inverter harness part numbers and other stuff I want to do to the truck.
I broke a chassis hole plug when removing my sway bar to install the relocation bracket. Ordered a new one (got the part number from the frame recall instructions).

 

Finished my aux panel, reinstalled my RTT and swapped batteries for a North Star 24F AGM battery

 

Are they solid fill?

I’d definitely keep an eye on them. I’d imagine in an accident it wouldn’t take much force for the bolt to bend over and split them wide open.

 

They are solid fill, 100%. I believe it would have to take a hellacious force. I stacked three center blocks on them and it didn’t budge.

 

He doesn't "need" to do it that is his perogitive. It would look nice black though

 

I just installed cb on my truck. Just gotta run power to it. Haven't made full decision on location but leaning twds the current by hole under ac controls

Not sure I’d trust that in a crash situation but I don’t know shit about plastic, crashes, physics, etc

 

I only have fogs (leaving alone), bumper light bar & bumper spots for now. Cb, winch & power inverter are coming nxt so trying to stay ahead of the game.
