Has anyone tried keeping the driver door plunger depressed? How do it know the door was opened if the plunger stays in...

This is it. Have had this thing for 2-3 yrs and that’s all I’ve used (granted I wasn’t using it as often as I should of including washing in the past) can be used more than on tires but that’s my use for it. I dilute 3:1 and wouldn’t of gotten this big jug right away if I knew how long it would last. I need to do a wash this weekend so as long as no rain I’ll apply and try to keep a daily eye on how it lasts at the satin (3:1 ratio). I have apc in this same line but haven’t used it on the taco yet. It was good when I used it on the old truck but I’d probably dilute it even more for the taco

Oh yeah I have seen that on AutoGeek. I'm looking at these RimBrim's on Amazon right now. Thought about getting one because I have a can of "Cover All" spray I like real well if I can keep it off the wheels. That Meg's Hyper Shine would be great to put on with a paint brush. I find I can keep liquid tire shine off the wheels applying it with a brush.

I was just kidding but I read the reviews on that cheap tire shine and people seem to like it. I may try it if I order a RimBrim.

I too don't like the shinny look on my tires, much referring a clean mat like finish. I've been using 303 and it seems to stay on there quite awhile and only takes a few seconds to apply.

I have read some discussions about that, but then your interior lights wouldn’t come on and some other problems associated with that switch. I just know it’s a “Toyota thing.” Probably programmed in the ECU.

New weld-on sliders from 4x4innovations.com. $645 shipped. They don't recommend shipping pre-painted (powder coated) since you need a good welding surface so will paint them after install. Happy with the product and will get them welded on within the next couple weeks (sliders are resting on a mounted step bar in the pics). Struggling with which color to paint; black or shade darker than the cement grey (same as my slimline hybrid winch bumper). ...and the mod list continues to grow A%Kf2sk+QR2Km0iCeQiajQ.jpg cZT0GFS5Qc+jczfqGZetLA.jpg dEGLPNEhSHWWqWYjQAd2PA.jpg j122CP84QwSZszbv+qNejg.jpg

I just spray it on a microfiber applicator pad and apply that way.
