Anyone know what this extra plug is for?

Just got a 2019 SR5 Tacoma and was poking around, anyone know what this extra plug is for, looks like it has a dummy connection plugged in to it probably to keep it from rusting or something.

TLDR It's a relay for the pre-collision system.

 

Thats the million dollar question... no one knows OP.

 

I think that is the dicfoure connection.

 

I usually assume it's for diagnostic reasons.

Its not unplugged, but I did start hearing a countdown so maybe I should find where to plug it back in...

That's where the Racing module plugs in on the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) models. Adds 200 HP.

where is it on the truck? kinda looks like the camera connection under the bed.

 

It’s my understanding it’s for a Russian listening device.

 

Behind the driver side light. shouldn't be camera since my front camera works as it is now.

could be for the LED strip in the TRD trim headlights? is there one on both sides?

 

They are coming, just no lift or anything yet so she is not ready
