    Oxblood Initiate by Newgrass Brewing in Shelby, NC. It’s a bit tart for my newly acquired taste for sour beers, but overall very good.

    If you're easing into sours, look for Berliners or Gose's, they're on the lighter side of sour and fairly readily available.

    The Pale Ale is one that got me more in to IPAs, and I'm sure numerous others. It's a damn good beer. I dunno if I'd put it in the top 3 on that list either, but I'm not complaining about it being there either. It is a strange list though...

    Personally, Pale Ale might be my favorite beer ever. I love the hoppiest IPAs and the strongest stouts but sometimes I just want a Pale Ale.

    I had a berliner from this same brewery awhile back and I loved it. The more I sip on this sour brown the better it gets.

    After the beginning of the month I gotta go on a beer buying hiatus. I need to rebuild my shocks and get some tools to accommodate me doing the work myself (not the rebuild.. the install).

    I shouldn’t have taken the summer off between semesters. Lesson learned. Too old to be making cuts!
