Siiiiick. I had one and my girlfriend still has hers. Great bikes. The stock jetting is absolutely garbage though. So its worth changing.

Not true. You need to ride my bike.
    Welcome!

I need to check my bushings too. I've noticed that i feel a little bit of looseness or play somewhere in the steering when im offroad. Driving on the street it feels completely normal but on trails or really bumpy dirt roads it feels like theres a little bit of slop somewhere. Somebody also sugested that i check my steering column. I have a feeling its gonna be a bitch tracking it down.

My 4runner & both tacomas I upgraded to the poly rack bushings, big improvement over the soft worn out rubber bushings.

Nice. How difficult of a job is it to change those bushings?

You don't have to remove the rack from the truck or disconnect the tierods, just unbolt it from the mounts at the frame. At least on 1st gen Tacomas & 3rd gen 4runners, I never did a 2nd gen.

Awesome! I just bought the same kit with the same springs. How is the ride? My leafs come tomorrow and the rest of it comes Monday. Did you do the install yourself or did you take it to a shop?

Its similar. never been inside a tacoma R&P, but if its like any of the others its all just seals and snap rings.

2nd gen tacomas can be a pain, especially if your 4WD. theres a bunch of shit in the way of doing it. heres a writeup that does a good job of explaining the process.

Yeah that looks like a pain. But the slop is pretty annoying any time I drive off pavement so I might have to add that to the growing list of to-do's

Nice man! I prefer the ride over stock. It is very stiff over bumps, very little body roll at all. Drives like “a truck” and I’m really happy with it. Have only been off-road twice so far but just little stuff nothing that exciting. I installed the lift myself took about 6 hours. Hardest part was the UCA bolt.. had to cut a little because I got impatient, also the leafs were kind of a pain to position but all in all I saved about $1500 so definitely worth it to do some research and install yourself.

I have never done suspension so I'm kinda apprehensive at the moment. So you went with UCAs too then? I haven't gotten them since I'm not going with more than a 3 inch lift. Need to get all the tools together and take a day off to try and get er done.

I have a friend that has a lift in his pool Barn I can use to do the install. Just waiting on parts and watching vids now. First time doing any type of suspension so it'll definitely be a process.

You have more confidence than me when it comes to suspension then lol. I'll wire anything up though.
