I usually sit in the morning up until lunch. Have lunch, come back, and then stand the rest of the day

Guess my running is paying off (probably just water weight) but scale said 183.4 today after work! My lowest I’ve ever been was 182. It’s so exciting that I don’t even want to eat lmao don’t wanna lose where I’m at

Took the last few days off of any cardio stuff since I sliced a little chunk on the side of my foot surfing. Rowed for the first time since surfing last Saturday. That was a rough 20 mins.

Surfing is cool. That’s the only thing that makes Cali awesome.

Gahhhhh you are fucking correct there. I spent 2 weeks there visiting the wife in Monterrey and the weather is freaking awesome. No A/C in the air BnB we stayed at. 40-50 in the morning and 60-70 in the evening.

Beautiful mountains and that blue water was kickass.

If I could afford it... I’d live there. But my $50,000 house I stay in in Texas is like 500,000 in Cali. Soooo Texas i stay. For now.

Did see TONS of lifted/lowered cars and trucks while there too even though the stigma behind Cali is that anything not stock is illegal.

It’s pretty much the only reason I didn’t move out of state. Got a place 3/4 a mile from the beach and 2 miles from my regular surf spot.
Been high 60s low 70s, overcast, and windy all week. I’ve had enough of it. Ready for some sun

Oh I know. Every time I drive further south to Laguna, or San Diego, gotta pass down the 5 if I don’t take PCH and it’s easily 20+ degree difference. Last summer was brutal for us. I had to buy a portable AC for the bedroom cuz we could not sleep it was so hot

Be careful what you ask for.
I’ve heard that this summer California will be hotter than the last one. Come August & September you’re going to be wishing you could have some of this overcast. Enjoy it while you can. The wind I can do without as well

I like 4 distinct seasons, snow :D, and a reasonable cost of living.

I won’t live in a place where the winters don’t require engaging 4x4 frequently :burnrubber:

I’m a Packer fan so I’m the type of person that believes there is no such thing as inclimate weather only inclimate clothing :D
