There's a BBQ place in Llano that makes its pies with a 1922 recipe that includes lard.

Their crusts are so freaking "stab your mother with a folk for serving frozen pies" amazing that you'll well, put your fork to alternative use.

See, I'm gonna disagree with you here. Slower absorption makes it easier to get the precise amount of sog you want without the oreo crumbling and falling to the bottom of the glass.

Disclaimer: I don't think I've had a glass of milk since I was a teenager so maybe 50 years. I will dip an oreo into my coffee though for a delicious and nutritious breakfast.

Have you ever had one deep-fried? I'm pretty sure I could hear my arteries hardening but it was worth the year or two I took off my lifespan. They. Were. Wonderful.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
There is a company in Pennsylvania that fries their potato chips in lard. There's almost always a bag in my house.

It's a real gem when I can find a place that still cooks fries in duck fat.

I'm of the opinion that you are far better off to eat small amounts of really tasty things than large amounts of garbage.

My philosophy is enjoy all life has to offer cause you only get one life and you can't take anything with you.

Bingo. Though there ought to be a point at which they face disbarment for false allegations such as the one I quoted.
