You can remove the 8s pretty easy with some acetone. Lot of guys have done it. There’s a thread even.

 

Correct. I only have overheating issues in 4lo. I don't mind flipping the switch, but it would be nice to have the fan come on automatically when fluid reaches that temp. One less thing to worry about and one less switch in the cabin.

 

Thanks man! I looked at this one, but wasnt sure if this will work. Questions, this turns the fan on at 180, but thermostat doesn't open till 195. How effective will it be?

Sold it to make space on the back of the truck for something bigger. Now to tent camp until it's ready like some kind of hobo.

 

I got a new job in San Fran. Some friends are letting me stay with them in Pacifica during the week so I dont have to commute from sac every day. I appreciate the spare bed offer. I may take you up on it. Gotta see what the plans are with the people I'm staying with before making any plans of my own though.

 

So the fan comes on early and turns off late.

Efficiency is hard to know but the switch will work.
